Idle stock costs money
Every parts store builds up numbers that no longer move. The causes are well known:
- losing a brand contract or changing brand;
- a discontinued machine or vehicle model;
- ordering errors, cancelled special orders, customer returns;
- closing or taking over a workshop, the end of a series.
Locally, demand is too low. Yet the same part number is often wanted elsewhere. In the meantime, the stock costs money every year: floor space, insurance, tied-up capital, stocktaking time. Its value falls, often by 20 to 25% a year, and much of it ends up in the skip.
Clearing stock without selling off cheaply or exposing yourself
The usual solutions come at a price. A clearance buyer takes the lot, but far below its value. A public marketplace shows your company name and your cut prices: your regular customers, your competitors and your brand all see them. Prices get compared and your image suffers. So many companies keep their parts, not knowing where to sell them without harming themselves.
How HOTIPARTS works
You publish your list. Buyers search by part number and see the part, the declared condition, the declared quantity and the country. Your name does not appear.
When a buyer sends a request, you receive it by e-mail and answer online, without your name. Your answer appears straight away for the buyer, as "Supplier A, B…". If they want to go further, they request the connection: you accept or refuse, for free. Only then do you share contact details, and only the ones you choose.
- Price: none by default. You can show a price to everyone or only to logged-in members, per part number or for the whole list, and say whether it is negotiable.
- Sale: it takes place directly between you and the buyer, on your terms. HOTIPARTS takes no commission.
- Buyers: garages, workshops, dealers, companies and, if you wish, private persons, in Europe, the United States, Brazil and other open countries.

Register your company
Free. We check it before the first publication: UID register in Switzerland, VAT via VIES in the European Union, manual check elsewhere.
Publish your Excel or CSV list
Part number, brand, description. Quantity, condition, price, model and photo link are optional. The file is read and then deleted.
Answer and accept
You answer requests in a few clicks. If the buyer wants to talk to you, you accept the connection for free.
Afterwards, you add parts, replace the list or just update quantities. You remove a sold part or pause everything during your holidays.

Frequently asked questions
Does my name appear anywhere on the website?
No. Buyers see the part number, the part's brand, the declared condition and quantity, and the country. Your name is only shared with a buyer whose connection you accept.
How much does it cost?
Nothing: no subscription, no listing fee, no commission. HOTIPARTS is funded by advertising on public pages.
Do I have to show my prices?
No. By default, no price is shown and the buyer sees "Request an offer". You can give a price in your answer, or show it only to logged-in members.
What file do I need?
An Excel or CSV file with three required columns: part number, brand, description. Quantity, condition, price, model and photo link are optional. You can also enter parts one by one.
Do I have to accept a connection?
No. You accept or refuse freely and, if you wish, give the reason (part sold, price changed, country…). Without an answer after 5 days, the request expires.
Who handles payment and shipping?
You and the buyer, directly, after the connection. HOTIPARTS collects nothing and is not involved in the sale.
Are used parts accepted?
Yes. New, used or refurbished: you confirm the condition in each answer, including any defects.
