Terms of use

These terms of use govern the use of the HOTIPARTS network. They apply to all visitors and all members, buyers and suppliers alike. Additional terms apply to buyers, business suppliers and private sellers. Version of November 2026.

1. Who we are

HOTIPARTS is operated by Lulzim Hoti, Route du Stant 23, 1163 Etoy, Suisse, as a sole proprietorship (hereinafter "HOTIPARTS" or "we"). Contact: info@hotiparts.com.

2. What HOTIPARTS does

HOTIPARTS is a network that helps people find spare parts and connects those who are looking for them (buyers) with those who have them (suppliers).

  • HOTIPARTS sells no parts, buys nothing, collects no payment for parts and takes no commission on sales.
  • HOTIPARTS is not a party to the agreements between buyers and suppliers. Price, payment, delivery, warranty and invoicing are settled directly between them.
  • A connection is the exchange of contact details between a buyer and a supplier when both agree. It is not an order, not a purchase and not a commitment to buy or sell.

3. Cost of our services

Registration, search, requests, answers and connections are free. HOTIPARTS is funded by advertising on public pages (see the cookie policy). No advertising appears in member accounts, requests, messages or e-mails.

A fee for connections may be introduced later, for business suppliers only. It will only apply after it has been announced and after the supplier concerned has accepted a new version of the terms. Buyers and private sellers never pay.

4. Accounts

  • You need an account to make a request or publish parts. The information you give must be accurate and kept up to date.
  • Business accounts are checked (for example in the Swiss UID register or the European Union VIES system) before they can be fully used. We may ask for supporting documents.
  • Private accounts are reserved for adults. They are subject to specific rules described in the buyer terms and the private seller terms.
  • The network is open to the countries chosen by HOTIPARTS. Every registration, and then every account once a week, is compared with the Swiss sanctions list (SECO). If there is a similarity, the account is put on hold until we have checked it.
  • You are responsible for your password and for everything done with your account. Two-step verification is mandatory for administration and strongly recommended for suppliers.
  • An account is personal. A company may have only one account per role, unless we agree otherwise.

5. Anonymity and contact details

Until a connection has been accepted, buyer and supplier remain anonymous to each other: the buyer sees "Supplier A, B, C…", the country and the account type; the supplier sees the buyer type, the delivery country and the postcode. Contact details are only shared after both sides agree, and only those each side chooses to share. They are never sent to the browser before then. A private person's address is never shared.

Each connection is recorded (who, what, when, version of the terms accepted) as evidence.

6. Rules of conduct

It is forbidden:

  • to publish false or misleading information, or parts you are not entitled to dispose of;
  • to offer stolen, counterfeit, dangerous or prohibited parts, or to circumvent sanctions or embargoes;
  • to write contact details, links or company names in messages, remarks or photos before a connection;
  • to send advertising, bulk messages or abusive content;
  • to copy the catalogue or listings automatically, disrupt the website or try to access other members' data;
  • to use contact details received for anything other than the deal concerned.

An automatic filter detects contact details and links in messages. A suspicious message is checked by a person before it is forwarded or refused. Every member can report a listing, a message or a behaviour with the "Report" button.

7. Members' content

Part numbers, quantities, conditions, prices, lead times, photos and texts published by suppliers are declared by them, under their responsibility. A quantity shown is a declared quantity: availability must always be confirmed by the supplier. HOTIPARTS does not check every business listing and guarantees neither the accuracy of listings nor the quality, conformity or availability of parts.

By publishing content, you allow us to display it, translate it automatically and adapt it (for example to remove contact details) within the network. You guarantee that you have the right to publish the photos and texts you send.

Delivery rules (for example Incoterms® 2020) stated by a supplier are for information. Incoterms® is a registered trademark of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC).

8. Disputes between members

A disagreement about a part, a price, a payment or a delivery is settled directly between buyer and supplier. HOTIPARTS may receive a complaint, pass it on to the other party, ask for explanations and take measures on accounts or listings (warning, removal, suspension). HOTIPARTS does not decide commercial disputes and does not compensate members.

9. Suspension and closure

We may refuse a registration, remove content, and restrict, suspend or close an account if the terms are not respected, if fraud is suspected, if there is a sanctions risk or at the request of an authority. Except in urgent cases, we inform you and you can reply.

You can delete your account at any time in your profile. Your data is then deleted or anonymised; records we are required by law to keep are retained (see the privacy policy).

10. Availability and liability

We do our best to keep the website working well but do not guarantee that it is always available or error-free. Interruptions for maintenance are possible.

To the extent permitted by law, HOTIPARTS is not liable for the parts, the agreements between members, content published by members, or for indirect damage or loss of profit. Liability for intent and gross negligence is reserved.

11. Intellectual property

The website, its name, logo, design and catalogue structure belong to HOTIPARTS. Vehicle and machine brand names are mentioned only to describe parts; they belong to their owners.

12. Changes to the terms

We may change these terms. Each version is dated and kept. A new version is shown to you at your next login; you accept it by ticking the corresponding box. If you do not accept it, you can close your account.

13. Applicable law and jurisdiction

Swiss law applies. The place of jurisdiction is the domicile of Lulzim Hoti in the canton of Vaud, subject to mandatory places of jurisdiction provided by law, in particular for consumers.
