These terms supplement the terms of use. They apply to companies offering parts on HOTIPARTS (the "supplier"). Version of November 2026.
1. Verification
Your company is checked before your first publication (UID register, VIES or other evidence). After validation, your imports are published immediately. You inform HOTIPARTS of any important change (name, address, UID or VAT number, closure).
With your written consent, an account may also be managed by HOTIPARTS for your company. In that case, you accept each connection yourself through the link received by e-mail.
2. Your listings
- You only publish parts you are entitled to dispose of. Part number, brand and description are required; quantity, condition and price are optional.
- A quantity shown appears as "declared by the supplier — availability to be confirmed". An empty or zero quantity stays online with the note "quantity not stated".
- If the condition is not given, the buyer sees "condition to be confirmed with the supplier". A part is never presented as new without your statement.
- You keep your list up to date. If it does not change for a long time, we ask you to confirm it (up to 3 reminders). Without an answer, HOTIPARTS may pause your listings.
- Photos must not show a company name, logo, address, phone number or website.
3. Prices
By default, no price is shown. For your whole list or per part number, you can choose: no price, public price, or price for logged-in members only. If you give a price, you must say whether it is negotiable. Members-only prices never appear on public pages. Private persons in Switzerland only see prices in Swiss francs including VAT; others are replaced by "Request an offer". The displayed price is information, not a binding offer.
4. Answering requests
- You receive by e-mail the requests concerning your parts. You answer online, without giving your name.
- In your answer, the condition of the part is required. Price, shipping, lead time, delivery rule and validity are optional.
- You certify that the information is accurate. Do not write contact details, links or company names in the answer.
- If you no longer have the part, say so: it helps the buyer and improves your statistics.
- You choose whether you agree to answer private persons.
5. Connection
When a buyer requests a connection, you have 5 days to click "Accept the connection — Free" or "Refuse". You choose what you share (at least one means of contact; the company name is always shared). After acceptance, you receive the contact details shared by the buyer.
A connection is not an order. Any sale is made directly between you and the buyer, on your terms and under your responsibility: price, invoice, VAT, customs, delivery, warranty and compliance with consumer law if the buyer is a private person.
6. Cost of the service
Connections are free. If a fee for business suppliers is introduced later, it will be announced in advance, set out in a new version of these terms and will only apply after your acceptance. The fee applied to a connection will be the one shown when you accept it.
7. Statistics
HOTIPARTS calculates your response rates and times. These figures may be shown to buyers anonymously or used to rank proposals.
8. Ending
You can remove your listings or close your account at any time. Connections already accepted remain recorded as evidence for the period set out in the privacy policy.
